Stroll Around Kandy Lake

Built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinha, Kandy Lake is a serene oasis in the middle of the city. Walking around the 3 km lake takes about an hour, offering scenic views of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the Udawattakele Forest Reserve.
