Climb Little Adam’s Peak

If the full Adam’s Peak trek feels too demanding, Little Adam’s Peak is the perfect alternative. Starting just before sunrise is best—cooler air, gentle light, and a magical view as the mountains slowly brighten.

The summit is only about a 30–40 minute walk from central Ella, and the route is clearly marked, making it an easy hike for beginners. Because the surrounding peaks block the early sun, the trail is already naturally illuminated, so you won’t even need a flashlight. It’s one of Ella’s most popular activities for a reason.
