Archaeological Museum of Anuradhapura

Established in 1947 by Dr. Senarath Paranavithana, the Archaeological Museum—known locally as Puravidu Bhavana—houses a rich collection of artifacts, ancient tools, sculptures, and everyday items excavated from Anuradhapura and surrounding areas. It’s an excellent resource for anyone intrigued by Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage.
