Rathna Prasada
Rathna Prasada, or the “Gem Palace,” was originally a magnificent seven-story structure built between 192–194 AD by King Kanitta Tissa. Known for its intricately carved guard stones and gold Buddha statue, this Uposatha house played a central role in Buddhist monastic life within the Abhayagiri complex.
